The Skyfie app invites users to explore a shared experience of observing the sky. Developed with the insight of Dr. Mae Jemison, an astronaut and educator, it emphasizes the profound significance of this collective act, akin to witnessing Earth from orbit.

This innovative application enables users to capture and share their unique perspectives of the sky through various formats, including photos, videos, audio recordings, and text. Its intuitive design allows for seamless interaction, consolidating submissions on a single page before displaying them on an interactive digital globe.

The contributions collected from around the globe form the Sky Tapestry, a visual representation of humanity's thoughts and emotions regarding the sky. Each submission is synchronized to GMT and positioned according to its geographical origin, enhancing the global connection among participants.

Users can engage with the Sky Tapestry by rotating the globe, zooming in and out, and discovering contributions from others within their communities as well as across the world.
